I am a lifelong entrepreneur whose journey began in Rhode Island’s commercial fishing industry. At just 19 years old, I purchased my first home while helping support my parents financially, later purchasing my first business, the Mews Tavern, at 24 years old. Through hard work and persistence, I grew it from a small bar into a thriving hospitality business with multiple properties. During this time, I was able to invest in nearby apartment buildings to help solve my own employee housing issues.

 

Since moving full-time to Steamboat Springs in 2002, I have worked across diverse local industries, from guiding with Steamboat Powder Cats to property management, construction, real estate, and the fitness industry. Along the way, I made both smart and tough investments, learning firsthand the value of resilience and community.

 

My wife of 21 years and I and our 3 children live downtown in the historic FM Light house, where we continue to embrace the “Steamboat Dream.” Grateful for the people and opportunities that shaped my journey, I remain committed to hard work, community, and the values of the American Dream.
